Art. 7 of Legislative Decree 196/2003 provides concerned individuals with the following rights: 1) to obtain confirmation of whether personal data concerning him/her exist or not, even if not yet recorded, and the communication of that data in an intelligible form.
2) to obtain information on:
a) the source of the personal data and the purposes and method of handling;
b) logic applied in the event of handling carried our with the aid of electronic instruments
c) information on the identification of the owner and of the responsible individual
d) the individuals or categories of individuals to whom the data may be forwarded or who may become aware of it in their quality as responsible or assigned individual
3) to obtain:
a) the updating, rectification and integration of data
b) its cancellation, transformation to anonymous form or the blocking of data handled in violation of the law and the certification that said operations have been notified to any individuals to whom the data may have been communicated
4) to oppose:
a) handling of personal data for just cause
b) if the data is used for sending adverting or direct marketing material, or for carrying out market surveys. When, subsequent to the request as per art. 7 of Legislative decree 196/03, the existence of data regarding the concerned individual is not confirmed, Darsena San Marco srl may request a contribution for expenses, not greater than the costs actually incurred, in accordance with the manner and within the limits established by Legislative decree 196/03, art. 10, sections 7, 8 and 9.
